1" by 72" Auger Wood Drill Bit

(Augers-Top Group) This is a Freeform 1" by 72" Auger Wood Drill Bit. Freeform Auger Bits have hole sizes of 3/8" 1/2" 5/8" 3/4" and 1". These bits are high quality carbon steel auger wood bits with course screw point and are fully heat treated. Augers range in length from 18" to 72". The 3/8" and 1/2" drills are available on 3/16" flex shafts (more flex) as well as the standard 1/4" shaft. Installers like the Auger Bits because they "pull themselves" through wood with the screw point. This eliminates pushing on the drill that leads to flexible bit shaft flopping inside walls. By adding extensions on to the auger bit (61-526 & 61-516) you are able to extend your reach in six foot increments.
