This is a B&A Manufacturing 1/2" by 36" Masonry/Carbide Bit. This series is the most popular series of B&A Manufacturings masonry drill bits. It is specially designed. Its slow spiral flute gives this drill bit exceptional strength combined with rapid debris removal. The steel used to produce this SM series is more resilient and allows for limited flexing. Combined with the special carbide tip this proven design allows the SM series to provide long life at a reasonable cost. (For rotary drilling only.)
